Safe retraction technology with a simple push of a button
The 40 m long garden hose has a remote control at the end of the hose, which can be used to activate the battery-powered reel at the touch of a button. Thanks to the integrated hose guide and RollControl+ function, the hose rolls up again gently and without any annoying kinking or knotting. The speed is reduced over the last 2 meters of the retraction to prevent damage to surrounding objects. The hose storage system ensures convenient and controlled watering.
Convenient watering of large gardens
The hose reel enables wide watering reach as well as space-saving storage on the wall. The box can be swivelled at an angle of 180° on the wall mount so that any area of the garden can be easily reached and the hose does not kink. Thanks to the bracket on the wall, it offers practical storage for hose nozzles, sprayer and other watering accessories so they’re always within easy reach.
One rechargeable battery - many options

The rechargeable batteries can be used in a wide range of devices and for various applications. This is easy on both the wallet and the environment, as an additional battery is not required for each individual product. The GARDENA Battery Retractable Hose Reel is supplied without an 18V POWER FOR ALL battery and is, therefore, ideal if you already have a compatible battery at home. The Battery Retractable Hose Reel is also available with battery and charger as a ready-to-use set (Art. 18645-20) in the GARDENA range.
Easy hose roll-up with rechargeable battery
The wall-mounted hose reel is compatible with all batteries from the cross-brand 18V POWER FOR ALLIANCE and automatically rolls up the water hose at the touch of a button. Simply insert the battery into the wall hose reel and trigger roll-up at the end of the hose or, alternatively, press the retraction button on the retractable hose reel cover to retract the hose in a controlled manner.
Durable product quality
The protective cover protects the battery from rain and splashing. The battery can also be easily removed so that the UV- and frost-resistant and burglar-proof hose reel can remain outside all year round.
