Wheeled fertilizer spreader for uniform spreading over large areas
The GARDENA XL wheeled fertilizer spreader is the ideal tool for sowing grass, fertilizing large lawns (approximately 800 m²), or salting garden paths and the areas around the house. This fertilizer spreader has an 18 L capacity and can be used year-round for the universal spreading of fertilizer, seeds, lime, de-icing salt, or sand.
The GARDENA XL wheeled fertilizer spreader is equipped with an ergonomic handle to manually control the opening and closing of the tool. Pull the handle to spread, release it to stop the flow, there is no need to bend down therefore eliminating back strain. In addition, an adjustment clip allows you to control the dosage whilst remaining upright.
The spreading range varies from 1.5 to 6 metres, depending on your walking speed. For precise spreading even at the edges, an adjustable cover plate is fitted to the spreading disc (discharge on one side from 1.5 to 3 metres). The freely rotating discs of the spreader prevent tipping and clogging so that the spreading material can be evenly distributed.
The extra-large spreader is particularly sturdy thanks to its U-shaped aluminium tube, stainless steel cable, and plastic wedge. The GARDENA spreader is fitted with profiled drive wheels with ball bearings, ensuring good traction and even spreading.
The cylinder's protective cover, which can be opened and closed as needed, makes it easy to empty and clean the spreader. GARDENA offers a 5-year warranty on this product.
