- Mum's daisies in the fall
My daisies have gone brown now that flowering has finished, do I cut back to base now, if not, am I able to plant anything in its place?
Hi Metarina,
It does depend on the variety but for most varieties of daisy, once the last flower has finished in the autumn you chop the plant back by a third and it should bounce back next season with an abundant crop of flowers.
