Hi,
Just wondering if creeping fig has the ability to adhere to, and grow up, a colourbond fence. If so, would a fence in full sun likely burn it? If not able to cling to a metal fence, what would be the best medium to attach to a fence, so it can grown up in uniform full coverage fashion? Thanks for your advice.

Hi Eve,
It would seem while Ficus is great at adhering to most surfaces, it struggles with metal. If you attach a wooden trellis to the fence, the Ficus will have no difficulties scrambling up that and may make an interesting pattern against the fence. It can grow in full sun however the sun can burn the plant if it gets too hot. While this plant can look very good when kept under control, it can quickly take over, so take care with it.
