Clematis can reach heights of three meters. With the help of their tendrils, they are able to hang on to trees, fences and walls. If there are no available climbing aids, it is important to install a trellis. The single elements of the trellis consist of horizontal and vertical wooden slats or wire cables. Rose arches, pergolas or wall lattice are also an option. We recommend installing the climbing aid at the same time when you are planting out your clematis in your garden.
