Is there an agent against cockchafer larvae (4 - 5 cm)? The larvae eat the roots of strawberries and flowers.

The GARDENA gardening expert

Dear Mr. B., there are no agents available for home gardens. Only the larvae of garden chafers, which eat grass roots, can be combatted using useful nematodes (Heterorhabditis sp. nematodes). Where nests of infestation occur, you can remove as many larvae as possible when working the soil, for example through gentle digging or deeper hoeing with a three prong.
