Can I use a GARDENA Robotic Lawnmower for separate working areas?

If the working area consists of two separate lawn areas where the Robotic Lawnmower can’t move by itself, we recommended making it possible to lay the wire to the other areas. In this case, the Robotic Lawnmower is supported manually between main and secondary areas. Use the MAN mode / other area and the Robotic Lawnmower mows until the battery is empty. Using this method, you will need to take the Robotic Lawnmower to the charging station by yourself.

See the operating instructions for detailed information about this procedure.

Must the charging station be placed on the lawn or could it be placed on a vegetable patch?

The area in front of the charging station is a high-traffic location. The Robotic Lawnmower should be able to start in any directionsand return to the charging station from any direction.
