To protect your berries against birds, you can place nettings over the shrubs. We have listed some information on how to do this and what you should keep in mind.
If you want to protect your berries against birds, simply drag nettings over the plants. A GARDENA telescopic handle can help to pull the net over big shrubs. Please make sure that the netting is completely closed and free of gaps. If there are some gaps where birds could easily get through, you can close the gap using a piece of string.

Tie the ends of the netting well together, otherwise birds could enter via the loop holes, get tangled and die.

Another or additional possibility to chase away birds is to hang up some CD ROMs. Birds feel disturbed by the reflected sunlight and do not dare to nibble on your berries.
