Even more ergonomic, safe and easy to use, the new Pruning Loppers from GARDENA come in a smart design and have only one aim – extremely sharp cutting.
Not everything that grows in the garden is welcome. That's why more than one in three gardeners uses a pruning lopper at least once a month. When small twigs grow into unwanted branches, strong and effective tools are necessary that prevent strain on wrists and blades while making clean cuts.
GARDENA has revised its proven range of Classic and Comfort Pruning Loppers, enhancing not only their looks. Many important functions now make handling the pruning loppers even easier, safer and more ergonomic.
Among the key innovations is that all shears come with new, precision-ground blades including non-stick coating as well as bypass loppers equipped with a new cover and buffer system. This system consists of large buffers on each side made of modified special plastic for cutting that is especially easy on the wrists. Anvil loppers come without this buffer.
Results from the very latest ergonomics studies and a large number of practical tests with garden owners have gone into the design of the handles. GARDENA has designed the lever arms in a drop shape for easy and comfortable cutting (for the Classic range in steel, for the Comfort range in aluminium). Soft Grip components and a comfortable forefinger support on the handles ensure a firm grip when additional leverage is needed. The handle ends are designed to prevent slipping off.
The Comfort Pruning Lopper 780B with gear transmission has a huge force saving of up to 40 percent compared to tools with simple lever transmission. GARDENA provides a 25-year warranty on all its tools.
