The future has already begun. With the introduction of the modern lithium-ion rechargeable batteries, GARDENA is offering a technology that can be recharged at any time, is easy to care for, powerful and has a long life. Rechargeable battery fans will be happy because the new technology is available right away for three devices: Turbotrimmer accuCut, Edging Accu Shears and Accu Shrub Shears.
The new GARDENA Turbotrimmer accuCut is certainly a very special device. All the details are well thought out down to the weight distribution: Since the lithium rechargeable battery is integrated into the handle, the trimmer lies exceptionally well in the hand. Plus the device has a new type of rotor-cut system. This new system features especially low-volume noise levels when working and achieves top cutting results through special plastic blades made of high-quality high-tech materials. These blades are also wear-resistant and can be easily and conveniently exchanged as required, and with no tools. The key feature: the magazine included for spare blades can be directly attached to the pole, meaning that you have 20 spare blades to hand. But not only switching the blades is convenient, recharging the battery is easy, too. By the way, with a full charge the Turbotrimmer accuCut can manage about 800 metres of lawn edging. Garden owners will really appreciate the new Turbotrimmer because in addition to all the other benefits, it also distinguishes itself by its exceptional lightness: The device weighs in at a mere 1.9 kilograms. A new experience is in store for those who just once take the new GARDENA Accu Edging Shears or the Accu Shrub Shears in hand. Both the Accu Edging Shears 60, 80 and 100, as well as the Accu Shrub Shears 80 and 100 lie so easily in the hand and are even strong in the grass and on the shrub that you'll never want to put them down again. Just like the Turbotrimmer, the Edging Shears and Shrub Shears can be recharged at any time with no problem and will no longer have any memory effect that one has to bear in mind. Of course, during development of the devices attention was paid to the ergonomics. The angled comfort handles can be optimally adapted for example to the natural hand position. But when it comes to ergonomics and relaxed working, there's even another enhancement: With the Telescopic Swivel Handle you can even work comfortably while standing.
