How many sprinklers do owners have to set up in narrow and winding gardens so that the garden is sprinkled everywhere? GARDENA has a clear answer to this question: One sprinkler for all spaces up to 380 square metres - that's the motto of the new GARDENA Large-Area Irrigation AquaContour automatic (available in 2008). Because where it used to be that a whole army of sprinklers was required to get into all the nooks and crannies of a garden, now almost every garden contour can be watered with just one device with the world first from GARDENA. That makes watering even easier than ever before!
Always in form for every garden space
This watering champion - already awarded innovation prizes - will not only impress perfectionists: The new GARDENA Large-Area Irrigation AquaContour automatic waters almost every garden contour exactly to measure - and all with hardly any effort. The innovative sprinkler is simply set up in the vicinity of the water connection and set once to the individual garden contour. This is completely uncomplicated even for beginners.
In the programming, the exact throwing distance is determined for each contour point of the garden space. Up to 50 contour points can be individually saved. In this way, owners of the new AquaContour have up to 380 square metres of their very own green space covered - and all this times two! Because, in the event that not only the front, but also the back of the house needs to be watered, the new sprinkler can save two different garden contours that can be retrieved again and again. For exact positioning, two ground markers allocate a fixed spot for the sprinkler in the different irrigation spaces.
Incidentally, owners of the new AquaContour automatic are not only on target in terms of watering, but also when it comes to the water bill. Because the individual space coverage is not only convenient, it also saves water and thus money too. And those who prefer underground irrigation systems can also make good use of the advantages of the new rainmaker: Because the new Large-Area Irrigation device is also available in a pop-up variation.
Valuable water finely dosed
Do not waste a single drop of water - so reads the motto of the GARDENA Micro-Drip-System. Because various endline drip heads, inline drip heads, spray nozzles bring the water drop by drop directly to the individual plants. In this way, the soil is dampened evenly and softly without too much valuable moisture flowing or seeping away. Irrigation with the GARDENA Below and Above Ground Drip Irrigation Line is exceptionally accurate. The underground system brings the water out exactly to the root. For those new to drip irrigation, the Micro-Drip-System is available in the practical Starter Set or respectively in various Complete Sets.
Regardless of whether the GARDENA Micro-Drip-System or the new Large-Area Irrigation AquaContour automatic is used, irrigation in combination with the new GARDENA Soil Moisture Sensor is especially economical. With it, soil moisture can be reliably measured and the irrigation can also be managed as required through the equally new Automatic Watering Set A 1020. Simply stick the device with the sensor tip into the ground and it will measure the moisture present in the ground in no time according to an electrothermal principle. The absolute novelty in combining the sensor and the unit is: With sufficient moisture, the soil moisture sensor closes the automatic watering unit and with too little soil moisture the sensor automatically opens it up again. Optionally, the garden owner can of course set the time period (only days, only nights) or the exact time (every 12, 24, 48 hours) of measuring. The garden owner can conveniently set the optimum degree of moisture by means of a control button on the device.
