Harvesting Sweet Fruits

Autumn is harvest time. When the leaves begin to turn gardeners and nature-lovers enjoy the wonderful array of autumn colours, from golden yellow to glowing orange and fire red to rich ochre tones.

It's time to start harvesting homegrown fruit and vegetables and making homemade jams and preserves. Jams, jellies, liqueurs and compotes made with fruits and berries from our own gardens prolong the colours and smells of summer into the cooler months of the year. Pick the biggest, juiciest fruits, using the combisystem Fruit Picker, for example. With this handy fruit picker you no longer have to clamber up onto ladders at great heights to reach the apples and pears at the top of the tree. Simply connect the Fruit Picker to a combisystem Telescopic Handle and the firm, juicy vitamin-loaded fruits are suddenly within easy reach.
