Cooling Water in the Summer Heat

Summer. Sun. Heat. Everything in the garden blossoms and turns green and garden lovers spend far more time in their second living space than in their house or apartment. But phew! This heat! It’s far too hot to be working in the garden. All garden owners really want to do is to relax and enjoy their beautiful garden instead of having to water their plants and flowers twice a day.

Irrigation systems not only make it easier to look after your garden, they also ensure that your beloved plants are watered and refreshed regularly. Irrigation systems for large areas of lawn have been around for a long while, like the ever-popular GARDENA Sprinkler System, for example. Once installed, the pop-up sprinklers only appear from the ground when it's time to water your garden. Each blade of grass in your lawn is watered as if by magic.

You can also water vegetable patches, flowerbeds, borders and hedges in a systematic way using the GARDENA Micro-Drip-System. The small, barely visible hoses are installed above ground and the Endline Drip Heads or Spray Nozzles can be attached wherever you need them so that they are close to the roots of the plants. The Micro-Drip-System prevents loss of water due to evaporation and so helps you conserve water.

Gardeners who prefer to use a hose and sprayer to water their garden can make their life considerably easier by installing a pipeline. Supply lines connected to a water supply at your house or garage are installed in the garden and a Water Connector is installed at all the places in your garden where you often require water. The GARDENA Pipeline system really does allow you to access water around your garden in the same way as you access electricity from the mains sockets in your house. Simply connect your hose to the Water Connector using an Original GARDENA System connector and water away!
